VoiceMail
is a cross-over album, combining popular styles of electronica-hits into a full concept album, in the tradition of the great
rock masterpieces of the 70's. The album recounts a story of self-improvement and personal enlightenment, through the adventures of a
contemporary girl, who ran away from a bad relationship to find out that true love starts with loving oneself.
Based on their own experiences and life stories, the three artists have woven a "
true story that actually happened inside my mind," told by Mai. The story is
transferred to the listener by a series of songs / voice-mail messages. The best
way to experience VoiceMail is to listen to the whole album continuously,
with no pauses in between tracks. Each track, however, can also be listened to as an individual song.
The Album combines club hits and radio hits with some more experimental creations.
The music varies from Trance and Dub to Chillout and Trip-Hop
(that is why we call it CrossStyle Music). The feel of the album gradually evolves from
aggression to mellowness, from anger to acceptance.
